iPhone 14 Adds a Spring Touch with New Yellow Colorway
New color variant limited to iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models, won’t be available for Pro models
Tech giant Apple has unveiled a new addition to its iPhone 14 lineup – a yellow color variant. The new yellow color option is set to add a fresh burst of color to the existing range of black, blue, purple, white, and red colorways available for the iPhone 14.
Limited Availability for iPhone 14 and 14 Plus Models Only
However, the new yellow color variant will only be available for the base iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models. This means that the Pro models will not be receiving the yellow color option.
Apple’s Tradition of Releasing Spring-themed Colors
The yellow iPhone 14 marks the first time since the iPhone 11’s release in 2019 that Apple has released a yellow iPhone model. The new color option is part of Apple’s tradition of releasing new iPhone colors every spring. The previous year’s release saw the introduction of the “alpine green” color variant for the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro models.
No Changes to iPhone 14 Models
Although the new yellow iPhone models come with a fresh color option, there are no other changes to the existing iPhone 14 models. However, the release of a new color option is expected to boost sales for the tech giant during what is typically a slower period following the holiday season.
Availability and Pricing
The yellow iPhone 14 and 14 Plus models can be preordered starting from March 10th and will be available for purchase from March 14th. The pricing for the new color variant remains the same as the other iPhone 14 models.
Along with the new yellow iPhone, Apple has also released a range of new spring-themed Watch band colors and silicone iPhone cases. This move is aimed at further enhancing the spring feeling and encouraging sales of Apple products.
