Binance Card now available for all Colombian Binance users, offering seamless transactions and perks.
Binance, the world’s leading blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, has announced the launch of its Binance Card in Colombia, marking a significant step forward for crypto adoption in the region. This makes Colombia the third country in Latin America to support the product, following releases in Argentina last year and in Brazil earlier this year.
Binance Card – Bridging the Gap Between Crypto and Traditional Finance
As part of its continuous endeavor to connect the expanding cryptocurrency landscape with conventional financial systems and enhance users’ capacity to use digital assets for daily transactions, Binance has introduced a prepaid cryptocurrency card. The Binance Card enables Binance users in Colombia, who possess a valid national ID, to utilize various cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoin and BNB, to buy products and services at over 90 million online and offline merchants globally. This feature is available to both new and current Binance users.
Seamless Transactions and Perks
The Binance Card will provide a seamless transaction experience whereby users’ cryptocurrencies are converted to fiat in real-time at the point of purchase. Users can also enjoy up to 8% cashback in crypto on eligible purchases and zero fees on ATM withdrawals. Binance App and website will offer a specialized dashboard for users of Binance Card in Colombia, enabling them to manage their cards. The dashboard will showcase the history of transactions and facilitate convenient access to customer support.
Supported Cryptocurrencies and Expansion Plans
Binance Card users can fund transactions with any of the 12 supported cryptocurrencies, including BNB, BTC, ETH, ADA, DOT, SOL, SHIB, XRP, MATIC, LINK, and stablecoins. A 0.9% conversion fee on payments using crypto will apply. In addition to expanding the list of supported cryptocurrencies, Binance plans to continue bringing its crypto card to new markets around the world.
Binance’s general manager in Colombia, Daniel Acosta, conveyed his enthusiasm for introducing the Binance Card in the country. Being a prominent player in the crypto adoption domain, Colombia holds great significance for Binance. With the launch of Binance Card, it is believed that more Colombians will embrace crypto, leading to the advancement of the blockchain and crypto landscape in the country. This will bring cryptocurrency even closer to the daily lives of millions of individuals, taking another step towards this goal.
Conclusion
With the launch of the Binance Card in Colombia, Binance is not only providing an easier way for users to use their digital assets for daily purchases, but also promoting the adoption of crypto in the region. With its seamless transactions and perks, the Binance Card will likely appeal to a wide range of users, further driving the growth of the crypto industry in Colombia and beyond.
